Where do you consider home? Is it the place you grew up; the place you're currently living? Why is it home?

Wow, this is really a tough one. The saying goes..."home is where the heart is". If this is true, then I have three homes. I grew up in midsize town in Ohio called Mansfield. My parents were born, raised and still live there. They have lived in three different houses since they married 37 years ago. They rented an apartment for 2 years and then bought a house where we lived for 15 years. My mom made the last mortgage payment the day we moved out. I was 17 and starting my senior year in high school. We moved across town into the house that they inherited from my grandparents. I lived there for one year and headed off to college. They have lived in that house for 19 years. It's home only because my parents are there (my heart). After college I lived with my parents for 6 months and then headed to Toledo, OH, where I lived for 12 years. My friends are still there (again, my heart), so I still consider it my home. Now, I live in Chicago, IL. I have been here for 2 years and I love it. It's home, it fits. I love being in a big city and everything that entails. People ask me if I would move back to OH, and I just can't even bring myself to think about it. My stuff is here and every day I am here and find another reason to be here...I know that my heart will be planted here as well.
Who is the very first friend you ever had? Are you still in touch?
I don't know if she was my first friend I ever had, but she is the first friend I remember having...my dear friend Christy. We still talk, but not as much as we would like. I just talked to her on Saturday for about 2-1/2 hours. She lives about 450 miles from me, but we still try to talk and get together when we can. I know that no matter what, we will always be friends. She has two of the greatest boys. They are really good kids...typical boys and by no means perfect...but good kids. I miss them very much.
It seems that friendship is the topic that has been surrounding my life lately. I really don't know what I would do without my friends. They really make my world a much better place.
What's the oldest thing in your fridge?
Three bottles of Sam Adams Oktoberfest beer from 2 years ago. I keep thinking I'll make beer bread. I think I'll go throw them out now. Gross
If you could eat only 3 foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?

Are you kidding me? I wouldn't last a week. I could eat pizza everyday, but I am assuming that you can't change the toppings. Variety is the spice of life. I love pizza because it is so versitile. Nope, no way I am choosing only three foods.
What time is your alarm clock set for? Do you use the snooze button?
My alarm clock is currently set for 4AM. I needed to get up early this morning...of course I hit the snooze button and slept an extra 45 minutes. GAAA!
What is the most interesting class you have ever taken?

My most interesting class I ever took was in High School. I took a class on Comparative Governments...it was great because it was discussion and reading. I learned so much in that class. I also enjoyed Theoretical Organic Chemistry...but it wasn't an easy class by any means. I worked my butt off, but I learned tons!
Who is your Alert In Case Of Emergency person?
My parents and my friend Greg. Greg because he is here and my parents because they are the ones who would have to take care of me.
What are your deal breakers in a relationship?
A man will never hit me or cheat on me...or he will be out the door! It just won't be tolerated.
